Shiraewon is renowned for its special use of Shiraegi, a celebrated specialty of Yanggu-gun. Shiraegi has gained nationwide fame as it is cultivated in the Punchbowl (펀치볼) located at an altitude of 400-500m in Haan-myeon. This special local ingredient breathes life into the dishes served at Shiraewon.
