The observatory is part of Stars Valley, which includes three different buildings. The Newton Center, the main observatory center of Songam Observatory, boasts a 600-millimeter Ritchey-Chretien reflecting telescope. This state-of-the-art equipment ensures clear and convenient observation of the stars, providing an unforgettable experience.

At the Galilei Center, a sub-observatory facility, you’ll find seven telescopes, including reflecting, catadioptric, and refracting telescopes. With the help of a CCD camera, digital camera, and other observation aid devices, you can delve deeper into the mysteries of the universe.

Getting to Songam Space Center is easy. If you’re coming from Seoul, take the subway Line 3 to Gupabal Station. From there, exit at Gate 1 and catch either Bus 7023 or 360. Get off at Jangheung Nonghyup, where you can transfer to Bus 15 or 15-1. The observatory is just a short five-minute walk from the bus stop.
