Taean Starlight Auto Campground
The Taean Starlight Auto Campground is a unique fusion of a camping house and traditional camping site located in Sowon-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungnam. This remarkable camping destination is only about a 20-minute drive from the Taean County Office, via Guncheong 10-gil, West Sea Road, and Beop-san Road.
Unique Features
The campground offers a unique camping space known as the camping house. At first glance, it might be mistaken for glamping due to the wooden interior and exterior. The inside of the camping house includes a bunk bed, a mini fridge, and a fan. The outside deck is equipped with a table and chairs for a comfortable outdoor experience.
In addition to the camping houses, there are 61 regular camping sites made up of crushed stone and deck. The crushed stone sites measure 10m in width and 8m in length, and the decks measure 6m in width and 4m in length. While there is no Wi-Fi, you can use electricity and a fire pit. Personal trailers and caravans are also allowed, but additional fees may apply for caravan use.

Close to the campground, you can find the Manripo Beach, Cheonripo Port, and Mohang Port. Because the campground is near the sea, you can easily find restaurants selling seafood. A must-try during your stay!
