Taehak Mountain Natural Recreation Forest Auto Campground
The Taehak Mountain Natural Recreation Forest Auto Campground is a family-friendly campsite that allows you to embrace nature as your companion. Located in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungnam, it is approximately 14km from Cheonan City Hall. By driving along Beonyeong-ro, Oncheon-daero, and Sejong-Pyeongtaek-ro in succession, you can reach the campground in about 20 minutes.
Introduction
The campground is set amidst a forest, offering a unique experience where you can feel at one with nature while camping. It features 21 general camping sites and 12 car camping sites. The size and number of sites are 21 decks of 5m x 4m and 12 bare soil areas of 5m x 9m. The sites are well-spaced and equipped with a fireplace and electricity. Although the campground operates all year round, it may be closed depending on the situation in January and February. Reservations are only accepted in real-time online. Although there is no separate convenience store in operation, there is a convenience store nearby making it easy to purchase camping necessities.
Surrounding Attractions
The campsite is surrounded by numerous tourist attractions such as the Independence Hall of Korea and Byeongcheon Sundae Street. There’s also the famous restaurant, Myeongjang Shellfish Jjambbong, where you can taste clam jjamppong.
