National Chilbosan Forest Retreat
The National Chilbosan Forest Retreat is a camping site where you can enjoy rest while overlooking the East Sea. Located in Byunggok-myeon, Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk, the camping site is about 28km from Yeongdeok-gun Office. A 30-minute drive via the East Sea Road, Yeonggil, and Chilbosan Road will lead you to this natural haven.
Immersed in Nature
This camping site, nestled amidst the forest, allows you to enjoy the company of nature while camping. Ascend the observatory and you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of the open East Sea. The campsite is equipped with 37 general campsites made of decks. The site sizes range from 2.4m by 3m (27 sites) to 3.6m by 3.6m (10 sites), all spaced out comfortably. Amenities such as fire pits and hot water are available, however, personal trailers and caravans are not permitted.
The campsite operates only in spring, summer, and fall, and reservations can be made in person or online in real-time. Please note that pets are not permitted on site.

In the vicinity of the campsite, you can find tourist attractions like the Whale Flame Beach and Yugumsa. Thanks to the nearby East Sea, you can also enjoy a variety of seafood.
