National Hwangjeongsan Natural Recreation Forest Campground
Located in the serene region of Daegang-myeon in Danyang-gun, the National Hwangjeongsan Natural Recreation Forest Campground is a gorgeous haven for campers. This camping site harmoniously combines beautiful natural landscapes with the clear waters of the valley, promising an unforgettable camping experience.
Getting There
The campground is about 22 km from the Danyang County Office, and it takes roughly 40 minutes to reach by car. The journey takes you through Danyang-ro, Sainam-ro, and Hwangjeongsan-ro, with each road offering breathtaking views of the countryside.
Campground Details
The campground, set within the National Hwangjeongsan Natural Recreation Forest, features 23 general camping sites with decks. Each camping site measures 3.6m by 3.6m, providing ample space for relaxation. The campground also accommodates personal trailers and caravans, and offers amenities like barbecue grills and electricity. However, during the forest fire caution period, the use of barbecue grills is prohibited. The campground operates in the spring, summer, and fall, and only accepts reservations via online waiting.

Visitors to the campground can also explore numerous nearby attractions, including the Miruk Daehungsa Buddhist temple and the Danyang Banggok Dokkaebi Village.
