Rein Park: A Sentimental Camping Ground in a Transformed Abandoned School
Rein Park, or 리앤파크 in Korean, is a unique and charming camping ground situated in Hwanggan-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, in the province of Chungbuk. Approximately 15 km from the Yeongdong County Office, it’s easily reachable via a 25-minute drive through Gikol-ro, Daehak-ro, and Shimwon Hae-ro. This site has creatively transformed an abandoned school into a nostalgic and sentimental camping ground, allowing adults to immerse themselves in old memories, while children marvel at the novelty.
Site Details and Amenities
The camping ground offers 30 general camping sites and 10 glamorous camping or ‘glamping’ sites. The general camping sites, paved with crushed stones, are spacious with a size of 10m x 10m each, allowing for the smooth installation of even large tents. The site also allows entry for personal trailers, caravans, and small pets. It operates throughout the four seasons and is open to campers every weekend.
