Walnut Tree Campsite (호두나무캠핑장)
The Walnut Tree Campsite is a place where you can indulge in the freshness of the forest. Located in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungnam, it is a serene and tranquil campsite nestled within a beautiful forest, providing an opportunity to enjoy camping while savoring the refreshing atmosphere of the trees.
Getting There
The campsite is approximately 26km from Cheonan City Hall. The route includes Oncheon-daero, Sejong-Pyeongtaek-ro, and Gwangpung-ro, and the journey takes around 40 minutes by car.
Facilities and Reservation
The campsite operates throughout the year, on both weekdays and weekends. Reservation can be made online in real-time through their website. The campsite has prepared 22 auto-camping sites, with various sizes ranging from 5.5m x 5.8m to 14m x 9m. Each site is equipped with a fireplace, electricity, and wireless internet. Personal trailers are allowed, but the entry of caravans is restricted. The management office provides rentals for reel lines and fireplaces.

There are several tourist attractions nearby such as Taehak Mountain Natural Recreation Forest, Gwangdeok Mountain, and Gwangdeok Temple, making it a perfect hub for a combined tour. Numerous restaurants are available towards Jeong-an direction in Gongju City for food lovers to enjoy a gastronomic journey.
