Silver Rock Camping Ground
Located in the valley junction of Ubisan and Yumyeongsan in Gail-ri, Seorak-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, not far from Seoul, the Silver Rock Camping Ground is a beloved spot amongst autocampers. Its accessibility and facilities have made it a popular choice for many years. Here, one can feel the tranquility of the cool shade of trees and the valley, making it an ideal place for a peaceful healing time.
The camping ground operates 45 single sites, each with an area of 8m x 12m. This makes it the largest auto camping site in Gapyeong. The communal facilities are located in the middle of the first and second camping grounds and are very well maintained, considering their size.
Furthermore, the camping ground is often visited by long-term campers, so you can see many established tents. A sculpture park has been built in the camping ground which is a great place to snap some memorable pictures. The management office and the convenience store are located at the entrance of the camping ground. They hold camping food experience events and small concerts according to the season. Auto camping and individual caravan users are charged the same fee throughout the four seasons, and small dogs are allowed.
