Garusil Camp: An Eco-friendly Retreat Nestled in the Forest
Garusil Camp, positioned in Deogsan-myeon, Yesan County of Chungnam, is an enchanting camping ground encapsulated by the serene beauty of nature. At a distance of about 21 km from the Yesan County Office, it takes around 30 minutes by car, driving through Yesan-ro, Yoon Bong-gil-ro and Garusil-gil. The camp is nestled between Deoksan Provincial Park and Yongbong Mountain, offering a disconnected world surrounded by the forest.
Regardless of which site you approach, the camp provides an immersive natural experience as it is surrounded by woods on all sides. The campground consists of 21 general camping sites made of gravel, 4 individual caravans with crushed stone, and 2 glamping villages. Personal trailers and caravans are allowed, and small dogs can also enter the camp. The camp operates all year round, on both weekdays and weekends.
