Introduction
The Sumjin River Hyangga Auto Camping Site is divided into an area of glamorous camping with over 10 glamping tents, 9 bungalows, and about 30 first and second camping sites. It boasts clean restrooms, shower rooms, and washing stands. There’s a children’s playground next to the management office, equipped with a trampoline and other various play equipment. The site also features a swimming pool for visitors to enjoy a refreshing dip during the hot summer months. There’s an ecological pond within the campground, making it an excellent place for nature-experience learning.
Adding to the charm of the campsite is a forest bathing deck where you can breathe in fresh, invigorating air while walking through the forest. There’s a walking and hiking trail on Mount Okchul, a 384-meter Hyangga tunnel, and a bicycle trail along the Sumjin River, where couples, families, and friends can create wonderful memories. Nearby attractions include the Sunchang Fermented Soybean Festival, Sunchang Fermented Soybean Museum, Sunchang Pottery Experience Center, Sumjin River Wild Chive Flower Festival, and Janggun Woodland Resort.
