Located on Jeam Mountain which stands at an impressive altitude of 807 meters, the Jeam Mountain Natural Recreation Forest Campsite is a public campground managed by the Boseong County Office’s Forestry Industry Department. Opened in February 1996, this site spans over 160 hectares and is equipped with a plethora of facilities that are being improved and updated every year to ensure easy access for all. The campsite boasts a parking area, 40 general camping sites, and various lodging facilities within the recreation forest.

Boseong County is committed to providing tourists with a comfortable and superior resting space. They have planted green tea, royal azalea, and various wildflowers for environmental improvement. The campsite can accommodate up to 3,000 people and offers amenities such as a swimming pool, toilets, foot volleyball court, playground, hiking/walking trails, and a multi-purpose plaza.

On a clear day, you can enjoy the view of both the mountains and the clear blue sea, with Mudeungsan Mountain and Deukryang Bay in sight. The valley of Jeam Mountain Natural Recreation Forest, the origin of the Seomjin River, is known for its cool water even in midsummer, making it a popular summer retreat. Nearby attractions include a tea field spanning over 1.5 million pyeong, Daewonsa Temple Gukrakjeon, Yongchugyegok Valley, and Yulpo Pine Grove Beach.
