Iron Mountain Farm Campground
Overview
The Iron Mountain Farm Campground, known as ‘철원가산농원캠핑장’ in Korean, is a perfect blend of camping and caravaning located in Galmae Township, Cheorwon County, Gangwon Province. It is about a 20-minute drive from the Cheorwon County Office, taking a right turn at the Drun Intersection towards Wasu and Kimhwa.
Facilities
This expansive campground is divided into 7 sections and offers 60 auto camping sites, 15 caravans, and 5 rooftop tent zones. The auto camping sites allow the use of fire pits, however, high-capacity electric appliances such as electric heaters, electric grills, and electric stoves are not available.
The caravans are equipped with bedding, heating and cooling systems, refrigerators and sinks. The exterior of the caravan features a private deck, table, and chairs. The rooftop tent zones are equipped with a tent under an awning, a private deck, refrigerator, table, and chairs.
Please note that hammock installation is not allowed at all sites as the trees have recently been planted. If you plan to bring a pet, you must notify the campground at the time of reservation.
On-site Store
The on-site store not only sells general convenience store items but also homemade peach enzymes.
