The Ipo Dam Auto Camping Site, also known colloquially as the ‘Auto camping site coexisting with the bicycle path’, is strategically located in Daesin-myeon, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do. It’s a mere 5-minute drive from Daesin IC on the Gwangju-Wonju Expressway towards Yangpyeong and Yeoju. Upon reaching the parking barrier, visitors just need to press a button and identify themselves as guests to gain entry.
This vast camping site, adjacent to the Namhangang bicycle path, boasts 75 auto camping spots spread across a generous expanse of land. The camping areas are nestled between grass lawns and planted trees, creating a refreshing ambiance for campers. The visual spectacle doesn’t end there- the backdrop of overlapping mountains in 3-4 layers behind the campsite promises a visual delight.
Every camping spot is equipped with electricity and a fireplace. The site also includes a convenience store selling groceries and general goods. In addition to this, there are regularly cleaned bathrooms, shower rooms, and drinking fountains situated under the management office. For those keen on capturing memories, there’s a photo zone with benches on both sides- perfect for taking commemorative photos.
