Jangseong Grassland Campground
Jangseong Grassland Campground, also known as 장성잔디로야영장, is a picturesque camping site nestled in a pine forest with a stunning view of the Hamdong Reservoir. The campground is located on a hill on the way from Jangseong to Hampyeong, right behind the Wolbong Village Community Center, within the Jangseong Grass Theme Farm.
Getting There
When heading to the campground, don’t enter from the front of the village community center. Instead, follow the signpost for the Grass Theme Park from the reservoir corner. The campground, true to its name, offers a vast grass square and a swimming pool below, and an experience center. Above the experience center, various sized campsites are set up within the pine forest. The campground also features a pension facility on top.
Amenities and Attractions
From the campground, the view down to the Hamdong Reservoir is absolutely breathtaking. The reservoir is popular among anglers for its even depth, clean water, and abundant water plants. It is particularly famous for carp fishing. It is also one of the few water-skiing spots in the inland area of Jeonnam and Jeonbuk.
