Camping in Refreshing Forest
The National Yonghyeon Natural Recreation Forest Campsite is located in Unsan-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. The journey from Seosan City Hall, via Gowun-ro and West Sea Road, and passing through Maae Samjonbul Street takes approximately 40 minutes. This campsite, nestled in a national recreation forest, offers a refreshing and nature-friendly camping experience. Just a minute’s walk from the campsite is a valley where you can enjoy playing in the water. The campsite has 20 general camping sites, all decked and measuring 3.6m by 3.6m. They are equipped with electricity and barbecue facilities. However, personal trailers and caravans are not allowed. Even small dogs are not permitted. The campsite is closed from December 1st to February 28th each year and may close at other times depending on the conditions of the recreation forest.

Several attractions are scattered around the campsite, including the Maae Samjon Buddha Statue, Seosan Bowonsa Temple Site, Gopung Reservoir, and Gaesimsa Temple. There are also various restaurants around the recreational forest where you can enjoy a variety of dishes.
