Seoraksan National Park Seorakdong Auto Campground
Experience the bliss of auto camping amidst the scenic beauty of the Seoraksan National Park. Nestled in Sokcho City, Gangwon Province, the Seorakdong Auto Campground is just about a 10-minute drive from the North Yangyang IC on the Donghae Expressway, in the direction of North Yangyang and Seoraksan.
Thanks to its location within the Seoraksan National Park, you can enjoy the lush greenery throughout the year. Known as the largest campground in Korea, it is a favorite among campers nationwide. The campground operates 309 auto camping sites, with electricity available at 61 of them. Fire pits can be used at all sites. There are also 8 exclusive sites for caravans, with an additional fee of 4,000 won required for the use of electricity.
Despite being a large campground, there are plenty of water fountains, showers, and toilets scattered around the area to ensure your convenience. While there is no convenience store within the campground, there is a large mart just a 10-minute drive away.
