About the Campground
Geumsungsanseong Auto Campground is located in Geumsungsanseong, one of the three main mountain fortresses in the Honam region. This massive campground is spread over 10,000 pyeong, offering 30 general camping sites and 40 individual caravan sites. As expected from a large-scale campground, the spacing between each site is ample enough to set up separate tarps and tents. The convenience facilities are systematically managed, and most camping essentials like firewood and charcoal can be purchased at the on-site store. Even if you forget your electric lead line, you can rent one for free. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the camping gear, as you can rent them here. Each unit at the glamping site is equipped with a sink.
Nature’s Beauty
As the campsite is located below Geumsungsanseong, it boasts a beautiful landscape. There’s a bamboo forest walkway, letting you breathe in the fresh air. At nighttime, the sight of stars glistening through the bamboo forest is akin to salt being sprinkled in the sky. The advantage of this place is that you can enjoy nearby attractions such as Juknokwon and Bamboo Theme Park.
